Living in Options - ResidentialEveryone must make the decision “Where will I live?” And that decision is just as important to people with disabilities. To accommodate adults with disabilities, the Cerebral Palsy Association of Middlesex County operates ten group homes and thirteen supervised apartments.

Located throughout New Jersey, group homes provide a superior level of care. With round-the-clock well-trained staff, residents live in a comfortable, safe home setting. Day activities and social supports assure true community integration.

Since the residential program’s inception, twelve years ago, persons with disabilities have found a measure of independence and fulfillment which is not possible in most residential settings. Supervised apartments afford privacy and personal choice, yet there is assistance available 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. At prescribed intervals, throughout the day, clients in the 13 supervised apartments operated by the Association are attended to by trained staff. Safety and well-being are assured without compromising independence.

Options Residential programs provide health services, socialization training, safety, money management skills, domestic skills, transportation, behavioral supports and accessibility.

Options residents are proud that they live within a community. They now have the freedom to make choices about their daily lives.

Group Homes and Supervised Apartments are located in Edison, Keasbey, Old Bridge, Piscataway, Aberdeen, Toms River and Bridgewater.
