Job Sampling Process

Options at Work enables adults with disabilities (clients) to gain the skills required for successful employment. "Job samples", created through the cooperation of business partners, is one way to assist clients in acquiring marketable employment skills.

At "job sampling" sites, clients experience a variety of jobs in real work settings.

"Job sampling" shifts are usually 2 to 3 hours per day, one day per week, for a six week time period. During this time, one or more clients may participate in the "job sampling" experience.

Committed to the success of Options at Work, program staff provides client transportation and on-going support and supervision. During each shift of "job sampling", staff remains on-site at all times.
