
By providing a variety of alternatives,
the Cerebral Palsy Association of Middlesex County has created comprehensive, meaningful day activities for adults with disabilities.
Three special needs Adult Training Centers offer an array of skills, including domestic training, arts, crafts, woodworking and horticulture.
ATC Plus, a traditional Adult Training Center provide a variety of vocational training opportunities through the use of contract work, simulated job sites and job training sessions. Employees receive compensation based on time studies, quality and quantity evaluations and standard wage rates for the industry.
The Supported Employment Program prepares persons for job opportunities with the philosophy of real jobs for real pay. Many clients are working in the community at a variety of jobs such as retail, food service, maintenance and office activities.
Nursing care and monitoring are provided by an on site LPN. Physician, occupational, speech and psychological therapies are provided by a contracted agency; on site clinical services handle visual, dental and podiatry needs.
The Multi-Sensory Interdisciplinary Program (MSI) offers intensive stimulation activities to clients with severe cognitive deficits. Behavior modification enhances appropriate behaviors for self control and coping skills.
Accredited by CARF - Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities for the following programs: Employment Services Coordination, Organized Employment Services, Community Employment Services, Community Services Coordination, and Personal and Social Services.
Options Day Programs are located in Port Reading, Piscataway and Toms River, NJ.
