The Children's CenterIt’s usually unexpected. It’s often overwhelming...the birth of a child with a disability. For these families seeking comfort and health, there is The Children’s Center – a haven of hope and healing.

The Children’s Center’s early intervention program offers comprehensive services for infants and toddlers (birth to three years) with developmental disabilities and delays. Services include: speech and feeding therapy; occupational and physical therapy and collaboration with health care professionals. Culturally-sensitive social services support and assist families to meet new challenges and assure their baby’s well-being.

Professional social workers offer resources, advice and empathy; groups of mothers and fathers come together to talk about their problems; and siblings are given the chance to express their feelings and concerns with trained staff. Services are often provided in the child’s natural environment such as at home or daycare settings.

The Children’s Center has been established as the very best way to serve infants and toddlers with disabilities or delays.

Babies have a place to call their own...babies have a chance!

If your child should be crawling, walking or talking, but isn’t, contact Anne Clark, Director of The Children's Center, at 732.548.3356 or Anne.Clark@cpamc.org for information about resources and services for your child under age 3.
